 Central Board of Secondary Education

Central Board of Secondary Education is one of the largest board working in India which is also known as CBSE which is specially dealing with X class, XII class. Central Board of Secondary Education is dealing with Public and private school within his dominion whom head quarters is in New Delhi, India.

The board is running currently under the chairman of Vineet Joshi and this organization come under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.


History of CBSE:

Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education is the first educational institute board who was established in 1921 under the jurisdiction of Rajputana, Central India and Gwalior.

Latter in 1929 Government of India take decision to set up a joint board system which called "Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Rajputana" in which territory Ajmer, Merwara, Central India and Gwalior Include. Later it confined to Central India and Gwalior. After the Independance of India  it become "Central Board of Secondary Education" in 1952.

Examination Conduct by CBSE:

Central Board of Secondary Education is currently dealing with following examination.
  • All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) for 10th class
  • All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) for 12th class
  • AIEEE entrance test examination
  • AIPMT (All India Pre medical Test) Examination
